Forecast by Amy Bilodeau

here is your perfect blue thought

your mouthful of blues

no one told you to reach

for the sugar in the cupboard

by climbing the knives of your longing

memory fills in

the blank spaces

with the colors it chooses

house shoe bicycle iris you

if you mumble

flowers mean I miss you

when you attic your words

sometimes they stay

condensation clouding the glass

open the window when it rains
