Pat Rempel has been a working artist since 1985. She is currently living and has her home studio in Saugatuck, Michigan. She studied at Western Michigan University and the Kendal College of Art and Design.  As an artist, her goal is to compel the viewer to take a deeper look at the beauty that surrounds them, even the beauty in the simple things overlooked every day that truly give life meaning. Her work is in all mediums including oil, watercolor, pastel, and graphite. She has an affinity for nature, birds, and animals, so they are her frequent subjects.

Her work has been featured in the “International Artist Magazine” and “The Artist’s Magazine”  and has been exhibited at the Detroit Institute of Art, University of Michigan, Michigan State University Club and the Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago, to name a few.

She currently has an open studio at her home and hosts several annual small art fairs.
