Carly Petersmeyer is a collage artist and aspiring trauma psychologist based in Los Angeles. During the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, she discovered a passion for collage as a creative outlet, leading to her winning the New Future Artist Award at The Other Art Fair Los Angeles. Currently a student at Antioch University in Culver City, Carly is dedicated to understanding trauma and the effects it has on the mind and body. Her colorful and thought provoking collages invite viewers to explore the complexities of the human experience and reflect on the transformative power of art.
