Oscuridad by Ann Pibel

I am good at finding things
in the dark:
a wrist,
a pulse,
the face
of your watch,
ticking our time away

and also what you leave:
the word clavícula
slipped under the bed,
besos y besos
shoved into the back of a drawer,
and Lady Day’s “Body and Soul”
on the ceiling looking down
